Wilderness Survival and First Aid, HSI Certification – 16 Hour Course – Fee $325.00
The Wilderness Survival & First Aid course combines critical medical response skills with essential outdoor survival training and is certified through Health & Safety Institute (HSI). Participants will learn how to assess and treat injuries in remote environments, manage bleeding, fractures, burns, and environmental emergencies such as heat illness and hypothermia. The course also covers core survival skills including shelter building, water procurement, fire starting, signaling for rescue, and situational awareness. Through hands-on scenarios, students gain the confidence and preparedness needed for backcountry travel, outdoor recreation, and emergency situations. Upon successful completion, participants receive HSI certification.
Child and Babysitting Safety Program, HSI Certification – Fee $100.00
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to safely care for infants and children. This HSI-certified course covers essential topics including child supervision, injury prevention, basic first aid, choking response, emergency planning, and age-appropriate care. Students will also learn professional babysitting responsibilities, behavior management, and how to respond to unexpected situations. Upon successful completion, participants receive an HSI certification, making this course ideal for teens, new babysitters, youth leaders, and caregivers.
First Aid | CPR training program, HSI Certification – Fee $129.99
The First Aid | CPR Training Program provides comprehensive, hands-on instruction in emergency response and lifesaving care and is certified through Health & Safety Institute (HSI). Participants will learn how to respond to medical emergencies including cardiac arrest, choking, bleeding, burns, fractures, and sudden illness. The course includes adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and essential first aid skills following current safety standards. HSI Stop Life-Threatening Bleeding – Fee $75.00
The HSI Stop Life-Threatening Bleeding course provides critical, hands-on training to help individuals respond effectively to severe bleeding emergencies. Custom Tutoring Services – Fee $65.00/Session
Our custom tutoring program offers personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning style, goals, and pace. Whether your student needs academic support, enrichment, test preparation, or skill-building, we design a customized plan to promote confidence, understanding, and long-term success. Sessions are flexible and focused, helping students strengthen weak areas while building on their strengths in a supportive learning environment.
Food Preservation Course – Fee 1,100.00/Session, $550.00/Session, Multiple Tiers Available.
Learn the essential skills of food preservation and take control of your food supply with confidence. This hands-on course introduces students to time-tested and modern methods of preserving food safely and effectively. Participants will learn the fundamentals of canning, dehydrating, freezing, fermenting, and proper food storage, along with critical food safety practices.
This course covers: Basic principles of food preservation, equipment and supplies needed, safe food handling and sanitation, water bath vs. pressure canning, dehydration techniques for fruits, vegetables, and meats, freezing and long-term storage methods, shelf-life management and food rotation
Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this class empowers students to reduce food waste, save money, and build a reliable pantry for everyday use or emergency preparedness. No prior experience required.
Private Survival Skill Instruction – Fee $275/Hr
Customized to the students’ needs, goals, ages, and experience level. This course is not a new or separate curriculum. It is a private, one-on-one instructional format of our already approved Essentials of Wilderness Survival course. The purpose of this course is to clearly identify individualized instruction for students who benefit from: Personalized pacing, Age-specific adaptation, Skill-level modification, Focused one-on-one attention, Customized goal setting within the approved curriculum framework.
All instruction, learning objectives, safety standards, and skill competencies remain aligned with the approved Essentials of Wilderness Survival course. The only distinction is the instructional format (private individualized instruction versus group class format). No changes have been made to the core curriculum content. This elective simply allows families to select a personalized instructional option that meets their student’s specific needs while remaining fully within the scope of the previously approved course.

Can a student take an HSI certification class one-on-one?
Yes. We do offer private, one-on-one instruction for HSI certification courses.
Please note that private sessions require adjusted pricing to reflect the individualized instruction and scheduling.
How long is a typical class session?
Most classes run approximately 1–3 hours, depending on the course topic, certification requirements, and hands-on components.
How large are your classes?
For quality instruction and safety, most classes are capped at 16 students.
This allows for hands-on learning, personalized instruction, and proper instructor-to-student ratios.
What is the minimum class size?
We prefer a minimum of 6 students for any HSI certification course.
However, depending on the course type and circumstances, we may allow smaller groups.

Can parents stay for the course?
Absolutely.
Most of our courses are intentionally designed with parent participation in mind. We believe parents should understand the material so they can reinforce and continue practicing the skills at home.
Will there be outside registered adults in homeschool HSI courses?
No.
All homeschool-focused courses are closed classes.
The only adults present will be:
